It is known that in December the artist was looking for a local police, after his wife Lilia Sabitova announced the disappearance of her husband a few days before the New Year. According to Sabitova, the choreographer left the house three times, as a result, she began to lock the door, but to assume that her husband would get through the kitchen window and climbed through a one and a half meter fence.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the police posted on their Facebook page a photo of the Russian choreographer, his signs and a hotline phone number. In addition to the police, rescuers, military personnel and volunteers were connected to the search for the artist. A few days later he was found in one of the areas of Limassol.
