All this is in sight, the ratings indicate that it is in demand, the brand of our radio is very strong, no one has managed to do anything with it yet. As for young artists, I have enough fingers on one hand to count those interesting and bright people who have recently appeared. Here was the era of "Mumiy Troll" and Zemfira - compared to it, nothing happens by and large.

That is, there are a lot of pretty, talented musicians, but if I ask you to call someone the level of Zemfira, here is Mujus, for example. I strongly doubt that there will be a lot of those who know him. I'm talking about a person, about which everyone can express their point of view. I do not want to remember Stas Mikhailov, but probably every opinion has some kind of opinion about him, and you and I too.

As for the mujus-talented, of course, a guy, I am his fan, but put him on a par with people such as Zemfira still this is an artist who was, is and will be, and there is still great interest in her. Unfortunately, few can boast of this. So that there are no questions - who is it? I listened to your broadcast for some time-and I felt as if I were at the time of my student youth, somewhere at the beginning of x.

As we perfectly understand, even if we talk about the times of Kozyrev, when everything just began and we still did not know about the existence of the “Dances of the Minus” and “Semptian Hallucinations”, the radio station is a commercially successful enterprise.

Either it is or it does not exist. Accordingly, in order for it to become profitable, we must promote the station in such a way that not only you and I hear Mujus or another song that we have pleasant with you, and that there is maximum coverage. And all this is built according to marketing research, endless tests and so on. The skill of the music editor and general producer is to make such a balance that will not drive anyone crazy.

So that there is no such thing that you listen and think: “Well, when will this Konstantin Nikolsky end?! This is shown by all tests in the world.

In fact, not everyone wants, and tests are also a rather conditional thing. But we must be guided by these mathematical layouts. At the same time, over the past year, we have been making maximum efforts so that people also hear the opposite side. They heard, saw, paid attention and, perhaps, in the future began to develop their musical tastes, guided by the fact that there is other music.

Deep, interesting, maybe controversial from their point of view - but nevertheless it exists, this music. It seems to me that in fact, there is no more rock and roll artist now. And more in demand. But this person who used to listen to the Alice group was not perceived. Now it’s already simpler. But first: rap is feces, and that’s all. Although he is a rock artist absolutely. Protest rock artist.

In general, it seems to me that if the protest remained, then in the domestic hip-hop culture. Who is listening to "Our Radio", whom are you testing? What age are they, for example? Plus - it can be fifty years. But the core is this. After all, these people have grown already in the X years - and they still want to listen to Nikolsky and Kukryniks? Their parents listened to this, they listened and continue to listen to - Konstantin Nikolsky, the DDT group and, God forbid, the new Alice.

But, unfortunately, this is so. We are now talking about a general assessment. Not about any particular community. The bulk of the audience is large conservatives. Russian rock is especially true: “This is ours. Do not touch. We don’t want to know anything of this. ” Even the "Ocean Yelzy", working in Ukrainian, is already a conflict. Although these people know how to play well, sing well and have great taste.

And for more than ten years they have been spinning at the station. Of course, I understand that you can’t say so about your audience, for example, the “Invasion” festival. Such a different audience! It happens that sixteen -year -old teenagers come to Kukryniks. And it happens that forty -year -old uncles - on the "pilot". Someone comes to Animal Jazz, and some people with children go to an alternative scene to listen to artists that you can’t say that they are frequent guests of our playlist.

That is, creating some common portrait is a very difficult task. But we are talking about people who express their point of view. And nevertheless, the marginal part of the audience expresses it. These are teenagers who are not busy with anything who sit and write in blogs constantly. They have a lot of free time. We will not do this. A person with two children will not do this, who all the time, while going to work and from work, is listening to “our radio”.
