He entered the first time, but after the first year he got into the army - then students were taken from most universities, since there were not enough soldiers in the army. Was it hard to return to study after the army? In his free time, he tried to study in the barracks, so the return to the faculty was simple for me.

We had joint interests after graduation. In the year, when I graduated with honors from the VMK and entered graduate school, I decided to leave to work in Germany, and A. Lukshin introduced me to the owner of one German company. Unfortunately, Andrei Vasilievich early passed away. Tell us about work in Germany. There were no language problems - I knew a little English, then I learned German, which was needed mainly in everyday life.

In addition, other guys from Russia worked in the company. At first he worked as a programmer, then he became the head of the project. The company gave part of the work to external performers in Poland, the Czech Republic, and I began to attract Russians, mostly children with VMK. I went for a year, but in the end I worked in Germany for more than three years. I could renew the contract to infinity, but I was tired there to death: boring and unpromising.

The company's management invited me to organize a representative office in Russia. It was the end of the year, and no one understood how to pay several million dollars for the introduction of some automated enterprise management system. I experimented for a year, even one client appeared, but the matter did not go. Then he worked in IBM for three years. He was practically the same - the introduction of such systems.

People were added, the territory expanded: a man worked under my leadership, and the countries of Eastern Europe were added to Russia. In IBM, this direction was well promoted - by that time, Russian companies began to feel the need for such systems. How did your company arise? There was a default in Russia in Russia. Life and business stopped. Crises always benefit, they shake, make them think.

And we decided to enter the external market with our products. On the basis of IBS, we created a group of 40 qualified programmers. When they signed contracts with the first two customers - Boeing and IBM companies, we realized that we were on the right track. The Luxoft company grew out of this project in the year. Now we have more people. The knowledge gained at the faculty came in handy?

In addition, in the company IBM I graduated from a business school - there certain skills are driven at the level of reflexes. You experience a shortage of business education when you develop a company. Hundreds of people conduct business without basic skills. Many come to this knowledge through trial and errors, and errors in the business are worth money.

I am the chairman of the board. The Association lobbies the interests of Russian companies in both foreign and domestic markets. Thanks to the activities of the Association, a number of laws are lobbied, in particular, on technopark zones, a law has appeared on a decrease in tax burden on the company of our profile. You have not been engaged in programming for 15 years.

Is there a nostalgia by profession? What! What time was good when the programs wrote! When you lead a large business structure, you are no longer engaged in your profession. The task of the leader is to solve problems. We have five levels of leadership in the company. And when the leaders of the four levels cannot agree on something, then after the decision, they come to me with an answer.
