Later, Izuna was shocked when Madara noted that Hashirama was stronger than him, but later he was delighted when he saw a sharingan awakening from his older brother. Thanks to this strength, the brothers subjugated the clan and Madara became its new leader.

In one of the battles against Senju, Izuna was seriously wounded by the Tobirama technique. When Madara quickly rushed to his aid, Hashirama begged Madar to come to a peace agreement. The eyes of Izuna still had great importance: first of all, providing Madar Ayen but Mangeco Sharingan, and subsequently allowed him to awaken Rinnegan. The same eyes were later transplanted by Nagato, who then became Payne, the leader of Akatska, and then the Uchiha Obuto, who shared the ideals of Madara, and, leaving himself for him, plunged the world into the fourth world war of the ninja.

After the revival of Madara and Tobirami, Madara expressed his hatred towards Nidaim Hokage for the murder of his beloved brother, and enjoyed his suffering in revenge, despite the fact that he was concentrated on the performance of Tsuki but Me Kakeaku. Khashirama noted that Sasuke reminded him of Movin, and considered that Sasuke is the only person who could save Madar from his path of revenge and hatred.
