Silence group biography
Styles of rock music Silence, the French musician Bruno Levec began in X, playing in various teams, but eventually realized that it was better to work alone for the realization of his own ideas. As a result, in M he established a solo project called "Silence" and the next year, under this brand, he published the album "The Fifth Season". Bruno himself performed all parties for this full -length, and he himself acted as a producer.
The work was purely instrumental in nature and in its filling contained a melodic metal with some signs of symphonism. The second album from Levec was released only three years later, and the production of Trouble in Paradise again took place according to the Formula “Do yourself”. The only improvement was only that the Brennus Music label joined the spread of discs.
As for music, it remained instrumental, but at the same time the pace of compositions has significantly decreased.
More significant changes occurred in the year, when Bruno, under the influence of positive responses, decided to move on and cooperated with vocalist Herome Kazar. The Utopia disc recorded by the reinforced composition showed a turn from the melodic metal to the melodic rock, and the observers also noted a small progressive raid. And although the main author of the compositions was still the leftist, in addition to the original numbers in the tracklist, Caver Kim Wilde "Kids in America" appeared.
The album was released under the auspices of the German office "MTM Music", but the next studio was published on the Spanish label "Vinny Records". The album "Nostalgia" was already delivered from any progressiveness, and the songs became more melodic and memorable. In addition, this time there were without causes, but at the end of the Levak program, the soft and pleasant “Oceana” instrumental is displayed.
And although in general the fourth studio was accepted better than the third, many continued to blame the noticeable emphasis of Kazara. It is difficult to say whether this influenced Bruno’s parting with Zheirom, but at the next session the head of Silence brought another vocalist in the person of Belgian Ben Vienna, “Jayhawkers”. In addition, in the case of Open Road, Levek changed his principle of autonomy and invited a whole bunch of guests to recording the disk that, however, were noted only in a couple of tracks.
Be that as it may, the sound of the group has become more guitar and alive, and the quality of the sound producer has improved markedly. It is interesting that, in all other circumstances, the group continued to wander from the label to the label and, after a short cooperation with the Kivel Records, moved to Perris Records. After the Open Road, a long pause came again, but this time a long wait was compensated by the appearance of two albums at once, City Days and City Nights.
Both of them brought to the audience a new portion of a good Aor, but at the same time the "night" disk differed from the "daytime" with a more awake pace. Unfortunately, the release of the double seems to have significantly crushed the creative forces of "Silence", since later the team, justifying its name, plunged into complete silence. Last Update
